Lance's POV

I knew leaving the troublesome girl alone wouldn't be a good idea but after my important meeting with the bastard that almost made me lose my mate the last time, I was informed of a sudden meeting by Beta. The elders suddenly want to see the Alpha.

Somehow, I could tell that someone had leaked the secret of me stepping out of the pack. The elders must not find out that I was away. I had to rush back to the pack to attend to them

As always the meeting was a stupid one and with the look on their faces, I could tell that indeed someone had given them information that I had left the pack.

From discussion on the road construction that I clearly saw was going well, to the discussion of me getting married and having an heir that would take over.
