Chapter Fifty

~LYDIA~

I glanced at him, he was still trying to regain his strength. "Thanks for saving my daughter." I mumbled.

He cares less about my appreciation, but that doesn't mean I'm not thankful for what he did. He stands up and walks out from the sitting room. He is the one that put Leah in this state, but also the one that saved her. What is actually his motive?

"Leah." I mouthed, smiling teary, her eyes were still closed but she was breathing fine. I smooth her hair gently. I'm glad my baby is alive.

I clenched my fist in anger as I watched Jake use his power to save Leah. Leah is the daughter of our enemy and he has the gut to save her. He should have allowed her to die from that cold so that I can see Lydia in so much pain and then I will rejoice. I could have stopped him, but I couldn't because Lydia was there. I will never allow Lydia to find out about me until my plan is fulfilled.

I will take everything that matters to her including her daughter before I will kill her,
