Chapter Twenty-five

“Ryan! Ryan!" Amira called as she snapped her fingers in front of Ryan who looked lost. “Ryan, are you okay?"

Ryan blinked his lashes and gulped down nervously. He batted his lashes once more as he got back to reality.

“Ryan, are you okay? You look lost, what are you thinking about?" Amira asked once more.

“Uhmm… I…" he couldn't form a word. So it wasn't real, it was just a trance. He can't believe that he's now daydreaming of kissing Amira.

“I'm fine. I was just thinking of a minor issue. It's nothing to worry about."

“Are you sure? You look lost, it doesn't look as if you were just thinking of a minor issue."

“Baby, it's nothing. There's nothing to worry about. Just go back to eating." Ryan gives a satisfying smile to convince her.

She slightly smiled back and continued eating, but she somehow felt that something was wrong.
