Episode 33

Fidelis’s heart was pounding in his chest as he searched for Alicia in the dense forest. The trees were so thick that he could barely see the sky above, but he was determined to find her.

Without the alpha's knowledge, he had left the pack house as he set out to find Alicia.

“I will go with you,” Zed had said to him.

“Thank you,” Fidelis replied him, “but I must go alone. I wouldn't want to put your life at risk for her.”

But no matter what he said to deter him, Zed remained unfazed, as he remained determined to go look for Alicia. He had sensed an opportunity to finally get one over Damon by proving to Alicia that he still loved her, even though she had rejected him for Damon.

“I will take my chances,” he looked at Fidelis with the confidence of one who knew what lay ahead and was ready for whatever the consequence.

“Don't say I didn't warn you,” he said to him. And so, having waited until everyone had gone to bed, they set out, their footsteps as silent as the whispers of a graveyar
