Chapter 37

“Yes love. It’s right this way.” He motions down the opposite hallway. Veronica follows him down the hallway to the gym.

They climb a set of stairs to a gym on the second floor. She kicks off her shoes and starts running around the room. She is not paying attention that there are guards in the gym working out. She is still in her tight dress too.

She runs and then comes up to the punching bag. Luis is still watching her as Gavin comes running in and over to her. He holds the bag pushing back into it.

He is amazed as she starts punching the bag sending it and Gavin back six to eight inches with every punch. Luis realizes that Veronica is stronger than even he realizes.

She continues her assault on the bag for about 10 minutes before she walks away and grabs her shoes headed back to the stairs leading to the cells. She drops her shoes at the top of the stairs before descending the stairs.

Luis doesn’t try to talk to her and just follows behind her.
