Veronica takes the phone and looks at the caller ID. “Cody? What is it?”

“Donna, thank God I could reach you. You are never going to believe what is scheduled for tonight?”

“What?” Veronica looks up to see everyone looking at her with scared faces. She holds her hand up and smiles at the girls before stepping outside.

“The southern district Capo and the western district Capo are holding a ball tonight. It’s supposed to an alliance mixer. I made sure that none of our contacts from the north have received word of it. I think this would be an opportunity to collect the alliances we need to take down Gavin and get rid of the FBI.”

Veronica nods but stays silent. She walks back into the house, “Send me the details and we will be going later. Make sure to set up the high-level security more so than normal. Send me digital plans and we will handle our side. You stay hidden.”

“Yes, Donna. And Donna?”

“Yes?”

“It’s good to hear your voice. I will make sure that Hector’s phone is always secure a
