Schuyler's P. O. V.

Ever since I started wondering about Ezekiel's job, I slowly noticed how he was trying to avoid letting me know what his real job was. At some point, I felt really offended by what he was trying to do, but then, I realized that maybe he wasn't just willing to let me know about everything yet.. Or I'm really not deserving to know a single detail about his job?

"Mrs. Riego, we're here," Hunter called me after parking the car in front of a restaurant.

I glanced outside and saw Georgi standing there while holding a paper bag. He was looking around him, probably searching for me in the crowds.

I opened the door and was about to go out when Hunter spoke to me.

"Should I come with you?" He suddenly asked, and when I turned to face him, I found him glancing at Georgi too.

"Do whatever your boss says, Hunter." I blatantly said before getting out.

I didn't look behind me or check if he followed and just went straight to Georgi. His face brightened after seeing me.
