"You changed your decision? But why?" Ella stared at her daughter with doubt and a confused look.

"Mom, I just don't feel like I want to go for now. Let's talk about it after your marriage." Eva explained.

"Alright, as you want." Ella warmly smiles, and in return, so does Eva.

Mark, who was hearing all this conversation from far from his room, silently walked out like he did not hear anything.

"What are mother and daughter talking about in my absence." Mark approached the seat beside Ella.

Eva avoids eye contact with him.

"Oh, Mark! Eva wanted more time to consider her decision to go abroad."

"Is that so?" He glanced at Eva's side, but all she trying to do was avoid him.

"What do you think about it?" Ella asked.

"I think it's her life. She is an adult. Let her choose."

His words made Ella nod in agreement, "Yes, you are right."

Eva stood from the couch the next moment, "Mom, I need to leave. My friends were waiting for me. We planned to go watch the movie."
