Eva’s POV

MIDNIGHT

I thought I’d fall asleep, but all I was doing was pacing inside my room, feeling stressed over today’s Mark behavior. He was calm in front of Mom. But how long he will, I don’t know. My nervousness gave me more stress every damn second. Until I found a minor knock coming on my door, and I instantly knew who was behind it.

“Mark”

I slowly walk to open the door for him. My hand reaches to hold the doorknob, but I’m unsure if talking right now will be good or worse.

Finally, after giving it a long thought, I turn the doorknob and pull it open.

Mark was standing all furious in front of me.

“Mark, Let’s talk,” I calmly looked into his eyes, hiding all my anxiety.

However, he avoided my words, walked inside, and closed the door behind him in a fast phase. I can clearly hear his heavy breath because of anger.
