Episode 4

Venetta

His eyes stared at me with so much intensity, two men came into the room and grabbed my arms, “What the hell do you think you’re doing?” My eyes flashed with hurt as I looked up to him.

“Making sure you don’t try to run away.” He folded his arms before turning to the men holding both of my arms. “Take her to my room, I’d watch her personally to make sure she doesn’t try to escape, Guard her and the room at all times when I’m not around.”

My heart sank to my chest, Tommy, my kids, I would never get a chance to see them again would i? “You’re going to keep me as a prisoner here?”

He didn’t spare me a glance when he looked over me to the guards that held me. “Take her.” They obeyed and I was dragged out to the room I was tied in before, they pushed me on the bed and closed the door shut before I even got a chance to walk towards them.

Tears filled up my eyes, I didn’t deserve this, I didn’t deserve any of it, they destroyed my life and I rebuilt it, I was happy and now this?

This was the room I lost my virginity in and I’m sure as hell it was the same room he shared with his mate. I wanted to return, back to my family and my world, I Didn’t fit in here one bit, I didn’t fit in with my wolf and I wouldn’t more because she was subdued.

“I’m going to escape, I have to find a way out of this…”

A knock came on the door and it opened slowly, I immediately cleaned my tears from my face and faced the door, Louis came in with a tray that contained different foods.

I looked at the tray in his hand and back up to his face, squeezing my face hard enough for him to know I wasn’t okay with this, with any of this. “You ruined my life the first time Louis, I finally found a family that loved me and always picked me first, why do you want to ruin that for me?”

“Here, I brought this for you, food.” He stretched the tray over to me, when I didn’t bring my hand out or even look at it, he dropped it on my thigh, his finger brushing the top of my thigh softly, i was still in my blue jean and white doctor scrubs, I looked over at the food, it looked like…

Smoothie with cookies and rasins, it’s been my favorite since I was a kid. “This doesn’t change any thing between us, I don’t need your food, all I want is to get back home to my kids and boyfriend.” I pushed the food aside, another part of me wanted to smash the content on his face but he was still the alpha and I thought better of it. “Besides, don’t you have a wife to attend to? Why are you hovering all around me and how am I sure this isn't poisoned?"

“If I wanted you dead, I would have done it a long time ago, Your kids, who is their father?” he looked at me and my facial expression changed instantly, I tried to control the way my heart was beating rapidly, he is an alpha, he’d hear it.

“Why are you suddenly concerned about my life and my kids?” I rose a brow to him and took the smoothie from tray then gulped it down, it’d calm my nerves, plus, I haven’t had anything since morning.

He took his head to a side, “Answer me.”

“I think you’re forgetting that I’m not your mate. Louis and neither am I a member of your pack, I am not subjected to answers any question thrown by you.” I dropped the smoothie on the tray and tried to walk away but his hand sharply grabbed my wrist and before I could blink, a sharp pain filled my body when my back came across the wall in a large thug, he was in front of me, one of his hand holding two of mind behind my back and his other hand holding my neck.

Fear eluded my body, I was shaking I could feel it, my wolf was absent and my super strength was gone too, “What do you think you’re doing?” I glared at him, my eyes searching his, “Get your hands off me, do not touch me.” I tried pushing him away but he didn’t even budge, he was stronger, way stronger than before, did I mention the stubble beards that embarrass his facial features, Louis had changed, we both did.

“Answer me, Ven, or so help me God, I’m going to do things you wouldn’t like.” There were so many unsaid words in his eyes and the last sentence left his lips, his eyes went to mine and back up to my face, as if he had just seen a treasure he never wanted to let go of.

“I fucked someone else on the night I ran, why I don’t know what you are thinking but throw the thought away.” I tried to push him off me again or release my wrists from the stance that entrapped them but to no avail. “If they were your kids, I would have killed them before they even got to breath.”

“And why should I believe you?” He removed his hand from my throat and brushed his thump on my cheek softly, slowly going down to my bottom lip. “You’re not that heartless, Ven, I know you.”

“Stop… calling me that.” I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath before looking back up to him. “You don’t know what I’m like when I’m not in love with you.”

His thumb on my lower lip went down to my neck and I shifted my face away from him. “You don’t know what I’m like when I’m bonded with you either.”

“Bonded?” My eyes winked up in confusion, “What do you mean by bonded?”

The door opened immediately and furious hazel eyes was fixated on us, “What is going on here?” The girl that Louis called forth that night with the name I could never forget, Leah Fallton, appeared stared at him and I, Louis let go of my wrist and pushed off me. Her eyes scanned me like I was some dirtbag from a waste bin. “Louis, who’s this bitch?”
