Cleaning up his mess

I turn around to Aaron, overwhelmed by an exasperated sensation. He shrugged his shoulders implying that did nothing erroneous. I badly wanted to lash out at him with the way he wasted the fish and the nonsense he mixed in the name of making food. He littered the whole space.

This man is a grown-ass adult. His behaviour makes me think otherwise.

"I was too famished and I couldn't wait any longer." he endeavored to elucidate, skimming his eyes everywhere but me.

"You just messaged me a while ago, and it hasn't been close to thirty minutes from now. Nonetheless, you don't look too hungry." I retort lazily, surveying his face.

"It's no big deal, Allie. We could just clean this up together. Not much of a mess" he says dumbing the fish into the bin. His words caused my muscles to tense.

"No big deal!? And did you just say together?" I grit out. My sudden reaction made his eyebrows crease in confusion. It's obvious he is ignorant about what he just did.

"Woooh woooh, calm down woman.
