Chapter sixty nine

Claire found herself in a dreamland, a place she had never been before. It was dark and eerie, with twisted trees and shadows that seemed to dance in the corners of her vision.

As she wandered through the forest, she suddenly heard a voice behind her. "Hello, Claire."

She turned around, and there was a man in Black overflowing robe. His eyes were an eerie shade of green which seemed to glow in the darkness, dark energy that made her feel uneasy.

He smiled a loop sided smile which made her stomach churn. "Hello, do you know who I am?"

Claire continue to look at him as she was not in the mood to exchange words with a complete stranger.

He moved closer to her as he sensed her discomfort. "I guess you don't know. Let me introduce myself. I am your uncle, Kendrick."

Claire's eyes widened at that revelation.

Kendrick seemed to be enjoying her facial expression as his smile widened.

"What are you doing here, Kendrick?" she asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

Kendrick smiled, a cold, cal
