“Are you sure?”
Elora doesn’t know how many times Caspian has asked that. Elora no longer nodded, she just moaned lazily.
“I thought you said you didn’t have any feelings for Javier,” said Caspian again.
“Javier is an important person to me. Love does not just love for lovers, right? Love for family, friends, whatever.”
“Yes, I know. But-“
“Did you call me just to witness this pointless debate?” cut Hunapo.
For about five minutes, the three of them had been standing in the backyard of Arapeta’s house. Technically, it’s called a backyard, but it’s actually a section of forest that stretches for miles.
“No,” Elora answered quickly. “As I said earlier, I think I’ve found something that can help me control my transformation.”
“Yes. Love. You already said it.” Hunapo was sounding impatient.

Elora pushed open the cafe’s glass door and the smell of cake and omelette greeted her. It felt like life was back to normal for a while.Vudu café is always busy at lunchtime, so Elora and Javier have to queue to order food.
