Chapter 30 - Alex
I don’t wait around for David when my classes are done. I also don’t go to study with my friends.
The activities from the other day are catching up with me and all I want to do is sleep.
I make my way through the building and the sea of students to my car and then head home.
As soon as I get inside my apartment, I head to the kitchen to grab a glass of water and then to the bathroom to get some more painkillers. However, I don’t manage to do anything else, but to collapse onto my bed.
I have homework to do, but my body has done too much already today. It is screaming at me to rest.
I kick off my shoes and socks before slipping off the rest of my clothes. When I’m down to just my boxers, I climb into bed and snuggle into my pillows. Luckily, I fall asleep almost as soon as my head hits the pillow.
