Chapter 38 - Alex

“OMG!  Alex, that was epic!”  Chance laughs beside me as we walk into my apartment.  “The look on their faces was priceless.  I wish I could see what they were like when they got home or out of the venue.  I’m sure your parents nearly popped their top.”

I chuckle and walk towards the kitchen.  “I’m sure I’ll find out soon.  I don’t think my parents are going to give up that easy.  I guess I’m just going to sit back and wait for the impeding explosion.”

As I walk into the kitchen, I call out over my shoulder, “Who wants some beer?”
