Chapter 45 - Alex
These last few days have been great. Even though I act all upset and irritated with David, my heart is soaring high with all the attention he is giving me. Not to forget the amazing sex each night, which he is always very careful to not hurt my foot.
I still can’t believe I hurt my foot like that. I’ve never been like this before.
Rushing to try and get to someone has never been my thing.
Luckily, the bet is finally over.
A part of me is excited that I don’t have to worry about it anymore, while another part of me is sad that I won’t need David anymore to fulfill my sexual needs. I’m free to go find a girl or two to satisfy me.
However, whenever I think about being with a girl now, a pain shoots right through my heart.

My eyes wonder ahead of me to Alex as he talks with Paul and Chance on our way to his class. My gorgeous boyfriend is getting better at walking with his crutches, but he still stubbles from time to time.A faint smile adorns my face as my eyes take in Alex’s tone body. However, there is also a heaviness in my chest which I can’t quite place.
