Chapter 39 - Alex
I snuggle into the warmth, and I don’t want to wake up yet.
A pair of muscular arms wrap around me as David’s husky voice asks, “Are you awake, love?”
I refuse to open my eyes as I nod my head. “Yeah, but I was hoping to enjoy this a bit longer.”
A soft chuckle rumbles around in his chest and slips from his mouth. “I will not say anything but only remind you that your friends are coming over and studying here today. I’m not sure exactly what time you had agreed upon, but it is getting a little late.”
Wait. What?
I don’t look at the clock as I nearly catapult out of the bed and run towards the bathroom completely naked. However, it is more of a slight hobble as my body still aches from our passionate session last night.
I stop momentarily in front of the sink and take a second to admire David’s artwork all over my body, except for my neck and any other place that is easily visible.
