Derek pov

I started to feel my legs move a day ago after a doctor injected me with a cure I think. My fantasies of Jon have diminished but I get none of my mate. She visits but now sits quietly in the room.

"Mia, I hear the doctor, you should go rest when he wakes he may be confused and he may not know who you are right away",she sighs.

"That would be my luck, she moves closer and my skin gets goosebumps, I bet he forgets me and wants Jon",she sighs and I hear the door close. The doctor sighs sadly.

"Whenever your ready Derek you come back",he leaves and I'm left laying there hearing everybody but I can't fully wake up. I hear my dad and mom everyday. Mia sits by the bed no longer begging me to wake now all she does is cry. I feel my fingers move but I don't hear her say anything or gasp at it.

"Son we know you hear us please try to open your eyes",I try but nothing yet.

"Derek we are going to give you a serum injection to promote healing. If you can open your eyes",my fingers move. I
