The minute we touched down on London soil, I had to think on my feet. I've been giving Miriam side glances and she'd been ignoring my attention. I was feeling needy.

I had organized for two cars to pick us all up from the airstrip. I could have easily asked for three but that would mean I would not get the time I needed with Miriam alone. Instead of driving to the penthouse, I asked the driver to take us to a small hotel just outside the city for some private time.

The last thing I needed was to take her to the penthouse and bump into Neon or whoever the female was that had picked up the phone when I called.

We spent the past few hours under the blankets in the hotel and now we were on our way to the hotel Meghan was already waiting with her friend.

"Are you okay, you've been very silent since we left the hotel." I glanced at her side but she was focused on the passing scenery.
