Samantha’s POV

Alpha Herveaux's wife just died recently and he is already with another woman. He is a womanizer. That’s why he kissed me on our first meeting. I feel so stupid for pitying him. 

That woman just tried to kill me. At least he saved my life. But who could she be? 

I tried making Tala leave the pool but she begged for a few minutes more until we ended up staying for an hour or even more. 

I was deep in thoughts though. I heard footsteps approaching. “Its father and mother’s friend”, Tala said, still playing in the water.

He questioned me for keeping his daughter out there. I was mad at him. But Tala made him leave us alone somehow. 

Something strange happened between me and Dacaian as she tried removing my necklace, a strange force blew her away from me. I just couldn’t explain it. 

A man came saying my uncle was here for me. “Cervantes puts me in trouble but he’s here to save me on time.”

I do have a problem with this woman insisting on following me to see my uncle. I took Tala upstairs. Wasted a lot of time deliberately while getting her dressed up. “Stay here and wait for us” She ordered Tala, who was holding my hands and ready to leave with me. 

“Don’t worry, I will be back in a Jiffy. Prepare a list of what you want us to do” I tried my best in cheering Tala up before leaving.

“You look so familiar, or should I say you smell so familiar” The woman said to Cervantes even though he came in a disguise. “How do they smell someone?” I asked myself. 

“No, I don’t think we have met” Cervantes changed his voice. I was angry. “You could talk like a normal human being but always decided to scare me with that cold and weird voice” spoke to him in my mind. 

“What is your name? I might know you?” The woman pestered Cervantes. “I am Cervantes! May I know who you are?” He said with a smile, offering her a handshake. 

“I believe you now, though I'm still not convinced, you and this woman smell fishy”, she said, rejecting his handshake arrogantly. 

He should be Heveux’s sister and not his Whore!” She looked at me sternly. I was scared, thinking she had heard me. 

“I saved you, she could have killed you if she heard what you said” Cervantes said to me immediately. She left. 

“Why didn’t you tell me Dacaina was here?” Cervantes asked me curiously. “Do you know her?” I asked him. “Yes! Very well and she is dangerous” he replied. If Cervantes said someone is dangerous, then she is way more dangerous. 

“You only told me to stay away from Rudina, not Dacaiana?” I reminded him that it was his fault. “Staying away from Rudina isn’t because she is dangerous, its because of that necklace!” He replied looking worried. 

“Dacaiana tried taking off the necklace not too long ago, but something strange happened!” I said to him. 

“I know, I made her unable to” he replied. “She thinks I am strong now, I hope I am safe?” I asked him. “That’s no big deal. We need to hurry up with our plans”, he replied.

“Give me the necklace! I will return it when Alpha Herveux returns” Caervantes took the necklace off my neck without even using his hands, it moved from my neck to his hands and disappeared. “I would really be happy if I just woke up now, everything here feels so unreal” I said to myself as I couldn’t phantom what just happened. 

“What is the plan you’ve been talking about? What if she asked me where the necklace was?” “I know what to do. The new prophecy is coming soon. An Appearance has to be made to make the Old Prophecy come to pass.”

“Why did you tell her your real name?” I asked Cervantes. He was mute for some seconds. “Because….. She doesn’t know me!” “Find a way to come see me at home”, he replied and vanished. 

“Our Prime, Request your presence!” The same man who called on me to check to come see Cervantes, called me again to see some thong I had no idea of. “Can I go check on Tala first?” I asked him carefully, minding my voice and manners of talking.” I do not want to be kiiled” I said to myself.

“The Alpha’s Daughter is with her. GO now!” He said harshly. “Can you be nice? I just asked a simple question” I said to him, running off to where I didn’t know. “It's this way.” 

“Who is the prime? Is she like some godmother or the Alpha’s mother?” I asked the man. “I cannot speak, until I am commanded Woman”, He replied me.

I kept wondering who she was. The mansion was so big, we went to the other side of it. My legs ached really bad. 

“Fuck, it's his annoying woman?” “Daciana ? Why is she called prime?” I asked the man. “She might be the next Luna”. The man said, “OH, I wasn’t expecting a reply from you. Thanks anyway” I responded. “I was given the permission to speak about the prime” he responded. I was put off by his reply though. “Why would I seek permission to talk?” I asked him. 

A man was with Dacaiana, they seemed so fixed and caught in their discussion. “Rise! And leave”, She said to the man that brought me. 

“Have you found him?” she asked the man with her. “Oh my god! I know him. He was part of the men that took me that day when Fernando made me a slave!” “What do I do?”

“He mustn’t see me!” I secretly left the place. All the slaves were kept at the other mansion unnoticed, with Cervantes' help. 

I bowed my face to the ground to avoid seeing him. “Can I speak?” He asked her. I guess it's because I was there. “She is irrelevant for now. Speak!” He said to her. 

“A few days ago, Alpha Herveux went against the orders of the Lycan’s Prowler clan and fought alongside his warriors”, the man said. 

“Who did he fight against?” She asked him. “The lone….. Lone wolves” He managed to end his words. 

I stood still like I wasn’t interested in their conversation. “ Why would he do that?” she asked him curiously. “Herveuax…… Why?” she appeared worried about him. 

“He discovered something strange and he also went in a disguise. No one saw him except………..” He stopped talking suddenly. 

“Speak!” Sge shouted angrily. Her scream made me shriek in fear. “ He got angry and made thunder and lightning struck the place.” He said to Dacaiana.

“What kind of a man is this? What would Dacaiana give him to make him tell on, Alpha Herveux to this annoying woman?” I was disappointed in the man. I loved it when people were modest and honest. 

“You are right, Omega Marion” “Alpha Herveux’s action might have caused someone to see him or even a child could easily guess that only someone strong could cause a thunder and lightning storm”. She smiled evilly. 

“ I’m curious, do you know what the Law of the Prowler’s clan said about going against the Alpha Knowing or unknowingly” She stood up from her seat. 

She has changed her dress. She was in a red seductive long beautiful gown, with bold red lipstick. She looked ravishing but still dangerous. 

Marion was shaking. “Your blood and wolf’s death is upon you” She said as she tapped him on his neck. Marion fell to the floor. 

“I wasn’t expecting that, I thought she had just betrayed the Alpha. It turns out she was just using Omega Marion”

“I made sure you witness what just happened!” She said smiling to me devilishly. Flaunting her wolf’s tail. She brushed my face with it. It cut me. I don’t know how something that soft and fluffy managed to cut me on my cheek. 

“Anyone who betrays Me or the Alpha would die just like that” She stepped on Marion’s dead body as she went back to her seat. 

“I wasn’t around when you were employed, I would never have allowed it. But I see you are devoted to Tala, My soon daughter in-law to be".

" I don’t want you! But for the main time you would be here. You must obey my rules” She stretched her hands to me. 

I thought she wanted me to hold her hands so I held it, unsure of her reaction. I moved hastingly some feet away from her when she took her hands off mine hurriedly. 

“How dumb are you?” “Shelia!” She called out to someone. “Yes MY beloved Luna.” The voice annoyed me. “Is it because she called her the Luna?” I watched as she walked into the hall. 

She wore the same uniform as me. Dacaiana stretched her hands to the lady. “Watch and learn”, she said to me sleekly. Sheila kissed them softly. 

“Now I get it, she is her lap-dog” I said to myself. “Another person I should beware.”

“On who’s side are you on? Mine or ………?” Daciana asked me.
