SAMANTHA’S POV.

Gwendolyn helped me pack my bags. She was skeptical about it at first, then I was the one eager to leave.

"Will you tell your father about it first? Have you made any plans?" She asked me carefully.

"None for now. I have been trying to call Alpha Draglun, but he isn’t responding. Do you think he’s also caught in this?" I asked her concernedly.

"Keep calling, he might answer before you get there. Your father is not home right now. I will just tell him when he returns," Gwendolyn responded impatiently.

I sat down on the bed tiredly. "Why are you acting like this?"

"Don’t tell me you’re backing out or having second thoughts, okay let’s do this, if the thing get out of your control, just say goodbye and come back to us, how about that?" Gwendolyn asked.

Gwendolyn was done packing my bags. She collected the cellphone from me and put it inside. "So how do you get there? You’re not going by car, right?" she asked confusedly, and it made me blush.
