Samantha’s POV.

Cervantes invited me over to the council's meeting; he had very impressive sorcery powers. Right there in my dormitory I could see everything going on at the meeting.

“I will introduce every one of them to you. You must be attentive”,

Cervantes had told me, he would teach me all I needed to know about wolves.

I never thought it would be like this. I thought he would hand some ancient books to me.

The gathering was more like that of humans, they sat like it was a board meeting. The table was almost filled up.

I noticed some people stood outside the meeting room while some walked in.

The last person was Alpha Herveuax. He was the only one I could recognize. He was with Fernando, the man that saved me but enslaved me in return. "How absurd!"

The kiss, I had with Alpha Herveaux found its way to my memory. I felt flutters in my heart.

Suddenly, the light was turned off. “Did they know we were watching them?” I asked Cervantes, because that could only explain why they turned off the light.

“NO!” “No questions until I ask you”. Cervantes was usually cold towards me, just like his voice sounds.

There were just two women on the table, the rest were men. “Are they also Alpha’s” I asked Cervantes, defying his orders of asking no questions.

“They are called Luna!” he responded. "So the female Alphas are referred to as Luna’s that cool".

Alpha Herveaux sat close to one of those women; I could not but notice that she also had a necklace on.

“She is Rudina, stay away from her anytime you are on that necklace” Cervantes said, sternly

I had a lot of questions but he just said I shouldn’t ask. He would have answered if he wanted to, "He can read my thoughts!"

“Rudina is the Luna of the Sun valley pack, that’s where Ashina hailed from. Her mating with Alpha Herveaux made the two packs bury their hatchets.”

Cervantes had begun the teachings on the wolves.

Rudina is beautiful. Looking at her, I can tell Ashina was also a beautiful goddess.

She had daring blue eyes, a long slim face, her smile was also a brace, her black hair with a silver line was neatly packed.

“Enough about Rudina! That is Drauglun, the Alpha of the Shadow Forge clan. He is the weakest of all the Alpha’s seated there".

The man looked otherwise to me. He had very large arms, his face was also scary, he had a red scar on his face, his eye colour also varied, the one on the right side with the scar was brown while the other one was red.

“Who is the strongest ? Alpha Herveaux?” I asked with curiosity. “NO questions!” Cervantes thundered.

The meeting finally commenced. They discussed a lot of boring issues but just when I was about to completely zone off, my attention was immediately reversed.

“The human dweller invaded, The Lycans prowler territory, do you still think he is worth the post of supreme leader?” The man with the scar on his face said.

It was that same Drauglun, now I hate him, so much for a weak man.

“They did not invade the territory, they were at the border” another man said, but his expression reeked of sarcasm.

“That is Alpha Lowell, leader of the winter moon pack, the youngest of them all. He became an Alpha at the age of eighteen. He is twenty, there now.”

All the wolves, looked young, maybe because of their mysterious power, but Lowell was different. He had the appearance of a teenager.

He was forward and full of strength, tall, dark skinned, he had short grey hair, his eyes were also grey in colour.

It turned into a mocking spree between Lowell and Drauglun.

Alpha Hervaeux was composed all through, giving no attention to them.

“He’s so matured and impressive” I said to Cervantes, who wasn’t moved.

“Let’s get down to business here, Alpha Herveaux. How long will you remain unmarried? More so, you still haven’t punished those who killed your Luna. Don’t you think it will give our enemies an edge?”

I was expecting Cervantes to introduce the man who had just spoken.

He had a different appearance from all of them, his face was covered with a piece of black clothes just his body alone, was seen, he wore a black tuxedo.

“Who is that?” I asked Cervantes curiously. “Calm down, watch for now”, Cervantes cautioned.

“You have no right to discuss my personal issues, I am the supreme leader and no one dare question my decisions!” Alpha Herveaux shouted in a rage.

It sent shivers down my spine, the words were echoing like those of a thousand men. Alpha Herveaux was annoyed.

“Not only him, it's Herveuax and Tristan his wolf, the perfect Unity”, Cervantes added. He wasn’t frightened.

"So the Tristan he was referring to at the bar was his wolf?"

“I will take over from here. No one should invade the human world!"

"No lone wolf should be allowed to stay or dwell in any of our packs, and lastly, every human that we have as slaves must first go through the elders!” Alpha Herveaux said.

The expression on all of their faces was clear. They respected Alpha Herveaux.

“It's not him they respect. It’s the Lycans Prowler Pack’s legacy”, Cervantes said,

I knew he didn’t really like Alpha Herveaux, but he rarely praised anyone.

“What is Lycan? What legacy do they hold that could make them respect him?”

“Not now. The time will come. For now you will get prepared.” Cervantes was annoying me. He always had little or none to say.

“What should I get prepared for?”
