Over the next few weeks, I saw little of Logan. He had left for his office before I woke in the mornings and did not return until late evenings. He seemed busy and left me out of the pack affairs. I mused dryly as I recalled the times I came across him on the porch or in the corridors. Once he became aware of my presence, he’d rush off like he was in a hurry and pointedly ignore me.

Although, Alpha Logan had books delivered into my room and sent flowers every morning, with beautiful handwritten notes that barely had any words but strangely was enough to make my heart tingle while reading them.
