Chapter 30

Alessia's POV

We returned to the palace, I was carrying Sushi who had no idea about Stefano's conversation. While I was carrying him, I wondered if I had made the right decision, but I wanted to blame myself for thinking that way.

Sushi is kind, and I will train him that he cannot hurt or do harm to an innocent person. A domesticated beast has a high percentage to be tamed like a common pet.

Dinner passed and I ate alone in my bedroom. I wish I hadn't asked Stefano. I wouldn't have thought badly of Sushi now. I just took a shower and then lay down to sleep.

I tried to forget that fact. I forced myself to sleep but sleepiness was elusive because of my thoughts about Sushi. A few hours have passed but I still don't feel sleepy.

I got up and got off the bed. I saw Sushi sound asleep in his bed. I got some clothes and I'm just going to walk around in case I get sleepy.
