Fear of Losing You

Aubrey's POV

"You look pale, have you taken your medications?" Meg inquired and I nodded. I have been spoiled rotten by Meg since I came back from the land of the dead. She spared no chances in making sure that I was always comfortable.

She placed her hand on my forehead and felt my temperature, "Are you sure you have taken your drugs? We should see the doctor." Meg said in concern.

" It's okay, Meg. She will see the doctor when she is ready." Mr. Knight cut in and I was glad for his intervention. Oh boy, Meg was ready to hound me to death about this issue.

Meg looked a bit hurt and I felt a bit sorry for her but her smothering was out of the world, "I will see the doctor later. I'm a bit tired." I said softly trying to ease her feelings.

"Okay, I will be in my room." She said and exited the room leaving a trail of emptiness in the room.
