Aubrey's POV

" Get out of the way, Aubrey." Mr. Knight said in a dangerously cool voice which didn't match his rage level. One could be fooled into thinking that he was not angry.

I stretched out my hands, " No, we should be thinking of getting Ellie to the hospital not beating Rob to a pulp." I said.

It was as if a light bulb was switched off in his head because he looked at Ellie and went to grab her from the ground, " Seize him, I will deal with him when I return." He ordered Josh before rushing down the stairs to the car and finally to the hospital.

"I will deal with that pup if anything happens to my daughter." He muttered as he stepped his foot on the gas causing the car to jerk when it moved over a speed bump and I rolled my eyes, I was with Ellie in the back seat.

" Shoe me the E.R right now." He ordered the nurses and I rolled my eyes. Why was he trying to control them?

Two nurses brought in a stretcher but he ignored them, " This way, please." A doctor pointed at the room
