Mr. Knight's POV

" So, after this contract, we don't have anything to do with them again?" I inquired after perusing the report Josh gave me.

" Yeah, we hope so. If I had done my due diligence,we wouldn't be in this mess." He admitted and I sighed. I admired people who weren't wont to admit their mistakes and because of that, I was very willing to forgo the money he caused us to lose.

" Alright, tell those Russian investors to hold on. We aren't striking any deals soon." I said and he nodded and picked up his phone.

We continued working in silence, I gave the orders while he followed. I felt his eyes on me but I refused to pay him attention. I had an idea of what he was about to say but I wasn't ready for that conversation.

"Are you not going to talk about the obvious elephant in the room?" He said.

I continued clicking on my laptop, " Well, I don't care if it's a whale." I replied and he sighed. " Don't speak to me about this issue." I warned him but he kept staring at me.
