Evelyn's pov

I couldn't be able to measure my joy when my contract husband was finally released from that stinking home. Every moment that he spent there was adding to the stress but I already had and I regretted even agreeing to it at all. The worst part was that there was never a complaint that passed through his lips. I knew that I had provided a more considerable amount of comfort but I always expected that at some point he would blurt out to just how much he hated the place but he was controlled and graceful and he uttered nothing bad about it, of course, he was fully aware of the state of the dungeon.
