Chapter 28: Dating Spencer - Jonny
I wake up with Amory’s dress wrapped around my face, saturated in her melon scent. I miss her being in my arms. After everything lately, it just doesn’t feel right to not have her there. I dress and head to the kitchen for my daily caffeine fix, and pass Spencer and Meme, who are having a quiet conversation about his date plans tonight with Amory.
“YaYa”, Stephany squeals as soon as she spots me. This little girl brightens my day.“Hey, princess. Why are you up so early?” I asked her.“Meme snorts”, she says, making us all laugh. I wake up with Amory snuggled up in my arms and kissed her lips even though she’s asleep, but I’m more then sure subconsciously she knows I’m here. She rubs her face into my chest and sighs before quietly whimpering out my name! I gave her one last peck before slipping out of the bed and heading back to the guest bedroom. I’m startled awake by Amory rubbing the side of my face. “Mi Amor?”, (my love) I say to her, worried that something is wrong since she’s up so early. “Can you come with me?”, she asks quietly and I nod my head. She backs up so I can turn out of the bed and slide my shorts back on. “We’re leaving, let Melanie know and meet me in the garage”! She leaves the room without even looking back. I shake my head as I put my sneakers on and grab my phone from the charger. I’m again awoken by Amory as she climbs into the bed with me breathing erratically. “Mi Amor”, (my love) I tell her as I pull her hands from her face. She’s in full-on panic attack mode and clearly struggling to breathe. I climbed out of the bed and threw my clothes on, before leading her back to her room to dress her. Amory has tears streaming down her face as she pulls at her own hair. I find myself literally dressing her a piece of clothing at a time, as she even struggles to wiggle into her panties, I’m pulling up her legs. Once she’s dressed, I take her down to the kitchen and sit her on the table with her feet on the chair so she can rest her elbows on her knees and hold her head up. I wake up in the guest bedroom when I feel like someone is staring at me. Spencer is released from the hospital after two days, with Amory taking it upon herself to play the part of a devoted wife and cater to his nonsense as he recovers. I take advantage of the situation too, since Spencer is confined to the couch in the living room at night, I climb into bed with Amory! Amory uses the time we are stuck upstate to actually get shit done. Amazing what she accomplished in two weeks! First, she actually gets Spencer to agree to her contract terms. Then she gets a health plan for his employees and gets everyone enrolled. From there, she moves on to getting all of the residents of the apartment complex on leases. She hires a landscaper to maintain the housing complex and two houses, interviews mechanics, and staffing for the laundromat. Amory even manages to get all of the documentation recorded for Motor Hart’s and Custom Hart’s, as well as the apartment complex. She goes through each document of every box one by one. Watermelon! Cucumber! Cantelope! Honey Dew! The smell of Amory lingers in the air around me, yet I’m in my bed naked, so her smell momentarily confuses me until I hear my housekeeper Tia calling for me. Amory sighs in her sleep, rubbing her face into my chest.
