Chapter Seventeen
As usual Connie found Nick’s car parked in front of the restaurant they normally meet. It was 14:10pm, she was ten minutes late and she knew Nick would be fuming. When she walked in she saw him sitting with two other guys who stood up and left the moment she approached their table.
His handsome face gave her a cold stare and Connie fought to ignore him as she pulled a chair and sat down.
‘Let me be frank with you, this is the last time you will make me sit and wait for you. I care less if you were used to doing that with my brother I am not him.’ Nick pointed out in a low firm voice
