Chapter Twenty Four
Lora walked in with a tray of milk and a piece of bread, she found Connie already awake going through a magazine.
‘Good morning my pumpkin, how are you feeling this morning?’
‘Morning mum, I am feeling much better today all thanks to you for taking care of me.’ Smiling Connie replied as she put down the magazine to take the tray from her mother.
‘There is my daughter, I love seeing that smiling face of yours.’ Lora smiled back at her as she went to sit at the edge of the bed. Ever since she woke up she has been feeling uneasy, James will be coming back home today and he wants Connie out of the house infact should he have been here yesterday, he would have chased her out yesterday. Lora was regretting going along with the decision without talking to her first. After careful contemplation she decided to find out from the horse’s mouth.
