  I broke away from Xavier’s grasp.

I sat down, stared coldly at the man beside me, and said in a low voice, “Xavier, I don’t know why you are always so determined, but I think you should remember that I clearly told you I don’t love you anymore. We are over.”

“It\'s over,” Xavier confirmed, his slender fingers lifting up my chin, forcing me to look at him, “but what I want is not reunification, but a do-over.”

“You are sick!” I sprang up, but I was grabbed by my arm.

My brows furrowed in anger, and said, “I don\'t like you. You destroy me and others time and time again. Do you find this interesting?”

“It is interesting. The process of pursuing you is, of course,” Xavier said as his grasp on my wrist tightened.
