I sat cross-legged on my sofa, humming melodiously to a song I wrote and composed. It was titled Sounds of Torment and fit into what Raghul was passing through.

He was distressed, and the only way he could relieve himself was by pacing back and forth through the house. Though I was supposed to take things seriously, as he claimed, Raghul makes it harder when he acts like this.

“You know, we should count ourselves lucky that we have a week to figure this out,” I said, trying to at least make him feel relaxed; he was worrying himself too much.

My interference didn’t hold anything as Raghul continued to be paranoid. “We have nothing; we basically have nothing!” He rang it into my ear.

“Watch over Gavin; I am going to go for a nap.” I sighed as I headed to the room.

I locked the door, climbed into bed, and slept off. I was so deep in my sleep that I didn’t realize Raghul had been consistently knocking on the door to say how much I needed it from his constant rambling.
