Did I wait like he told me to? Of course I did. Like an idiot, I sat on that chair waiting for him to return, my legs were out of place as they continued to shake. When he walked in afterwards I had a better look on the woman he was with and it was that Police lady that I saw the last time they were talking with Rachel’s friends.

“Hey,” Zach said in a soft voice as he sat next to me, “I wasn’t expecting you to come over to my work place for our afternoon kiss,” Zach grinned, he was oblivious to the fact I wasn’t pleased with him in anyway.

“When something is mine, I don’t like sharing,” I said and again he smiled like he was just this happy fellow that still thinks I am referring to kisses.

“I am a little busy right now, there was crime that occurred at the club downtown, I have been instructed to go check it out,” Zach told me as he stood up, “I will come see you when I am done,”
