I sat up farther, bringing my legs back in front of me. "I should go inside now."

Jake snorted. "Seriously? You tease me all night and now you don't want to do anything? But you can make out with Asher." He moved back to the driver's side and shook his head as he turned his car back on.

"I'm sorry..." I replied shyly. I didn't know what else to say.

"You can get out now." Jake was cold and distant and didn't seem to care that I was upset.

I stayed still for a moment, but when I saw that he wasn't moving or even looking in my direction, I opened the door and slipped out. I barely had the door shut when he tore away from the curb, his tires screeching.

"Asshole!!" I screamed at his taillights before I made my way up to the front door.

When I went to open the door, it was locked, and I didn't have my keys.
