Chapter 5 Duke and Helen

Duke pov

My mate is gone and I'm still sitting on the floor staring at the bed holding her body. I only got a few days with her and I fucking hate it. She gave me two beautiful pups before her death and I'm totally lost. Kat is sedated now she flipped out screaming so Jonathan had her sedated.

My pups have no mother now thanks to Fred, Edith and Dwight. All three are dead I made sure of that and right in front of their pack. Whoever blindly followed them were dead. The women were still sitting on our pack grounds but none tried to flee.

"Duke, I hear Jonathan but don't move, can I help you up?",tears still run down my face but I make no moves to wipe them.
