Duke pov

May is still in bed and nothing I mean absolutely nothing I say works. She just doesn't care one bit.

"you don't have to be here, she doesn't turn to look at me, just go mourn and take care of your pups",so she wants us out.

"I'm beta I can stay where I want",she just sighs.

"just go Duke I'm in no mood to fight",she really is withdrawn Silas whimpers. Mate wants death he adds choking up.

"I will come back later",she doesn't respond and I walk out heading to the office. Walking in Kat sighs as she sits on the couch.

"were you with her?",I glance at her.

"yes",she glares at me.

"my mom hasn't been dead long and your moving on",yes this is bitter Kat and I ignore her shit.

"it has been over a year and I fucking let my second chance mate sit in a fucking cell to please you and everybody else!, she looks surprised I'm pissed and yelling, now she is refusing her meds and food so she can die. You may get your fucking wish Kat but know this I would not wish this pain on anyone!! ",
