Fifty Seven

Melody's POV:

I had the same dream that night. Again it was horrifying. I woke up in a daze, shaking. I hadn't slept after that.

"I've been having dreams. Nightmares, actually. I think I should drop the medicines for a while." I told Amelia later in library.

She looked at me in sympathy and shook her head.

"I don't think that would be wise." She said.

I knew she would say that. They didn't know how horrifying it felt when I couldn't have escaped those creepy woods. At some point I had thought it wasn't a dream after all.

I nodded and stood up, slinging my handbag over my shoulder.

"You're coming?" I asked her.

She again shook her head without looking up at me.

"I'll come when I'm done with this."

She was busy doing her English assignment. I sighed and exited the library into the dark, night sky. Earlier, I had a talk with Dad on the phone. He had been giving excuses for why I should attend my counselling sessions. Thankfully, they will only be on Mondays and Thursdays.
