Stanley’s POV
I drove at the speed of light. I want to see Emily. I kept feeling guilty, “what if I had stayed back.”
That is no longer important. I have to go there and be there for them. Kate was occasionally startled from the various reversals I have been making.
Kate’s POV
I am cool headed at least. Stanley on the other was driving like a mad man. Finally we reached Winster county hospital in one piece.
I thanked my stars. We took the elevator to emergency. Dr Amanda was there. She was obviously waiting for me.
“Amanda, how is she?” I asked. “She is doing great so far,” she replied. Even though she is a gynecologist, being a senior doctor in Winster county hospital. She probably knows a bit of everything.
