How to convince him

Of course he wasn't, it was just her eyes playing tricks on her. Surely she would have known by now if he was, after all they were together most of the time. With a shake of her head she stood up and padded barefooted to the bathroom.

After using the bathroom she returned back and sank down on her bed to face him. She suddenly did not feel like going back to bed. It was still early for her to be awake but she knew she wouldn't be able to sleep without him.
