ARIA's perspective

I walked into the room and lay on the bed, it wasn’t quite long when I heard a knock on the door and Neon’s voice came up.

“Aria, open the door. It’s me.”

I stood up from the bed and trudged towards the door and opened it. I let him into the room.

“Are you okay?”

I scoffed at his question.

“Did you cry?” He reached out to touch me but I took a step back.

“Aria, what’s wrong?”

“You aren’t covered in blood anymore, you went to wash up and come here to deceive me with a smiling face.”“What are you talking about, I thought we had sorted things out, why are you...?”

“Stop pretending!” I raised my voice at him, why was he trying to feign ignorance when he knew of what he did?

Why was he acting like everything was okay? When he knew it wasn’t! How long did he plan on keeping me in the dark?

“Who were those men you killed, they were humans weren’t they?”
