"Find out where Margot is. Bring her back to me within half an hour no matter what," instructed Curtis.

"Yes, sir," his assistant replied.

It was Margot's second time visiting the Crosby residence. Her first time was the day after her engagement to Curtis.

He had brought her home to meet his parents. After that, she had never set foot in the house again.

In the blink of an eye, half a year had passed. If it wasn't Curtis' grandfather's birthday, she might not have come.

She thought the guard wouldn't recognize her, but when she went up to him holding her gift, he quickly nodded at her and hastened to greet her.

"Good day, Mrs. Crosby. Welcome home," said the guard. Then, he pressed a button to open the iron gates.

Margot was shocked that the guard recognized her. She thanked him with a smile and hurried inside with her gift. The guard made a call to the main house and went back to his post.
