"What did you need to discuss?" I ask, changing the subject before I end up tearing up in front of them.

"Oh yes, I nearly forgot. What will you do with Alpha Carter's pack now that it belongs to you? I have explained the situation and Beta Nathaniel is looking forward to meeting with you."
