I knocked at my sister´s office and she let me in right away. She must have noticed the grim expression on my face because she stood up from her seat and was about to approach me, but I stopped her with my hand.

"What´s wrong? Are you okay?" Clair stood a few feet away from me, her brows furrowing.

I shook my head. "Did you talk to Janna? Did you tell her to stay away from me?"

Clair´s eyes widened as she shook her head, "No! I would never do that!"

"Don´t fucking lie to me!" I snapped at her and she took a step back.

"I didn't! I swear! I would never do that! You know me, Aaron! I always tell you to leave those girls, but I will never approach them or say anything against you!"

I brushed my hands over my face before I slumped on the single couch just beside me.

"Then what the fuck is happening?"
