AARON
The day I dreaded finally came.
Janna and I have been walking on eggshells for days now, even in front of our own pack. I didn't realize the seriousness of our situation until the Alpha laid it out for us. And it was bothering me, and as much as I tried not to show it to Janna, the possibility of not being able to claim her was eating up all the confidence I had.
Although Jake had personally told me we would find a way, I was doubting it. My only hope was that the Goddess would look past all my wrong ways and give me Janna as my mate.

"I wonder what you were thinking that made you smile so beautifully." A voice from my back came, and I had to stop and think for a moment if I knew that voice, but I didn't. I slowly turned around to check if he was speaking to me and found myself looking at a blonde-haired male that I'd never seen before. "Excuse me?" AARON "So you're now on a first-name basis with Beta Dominic?" The rumble in my throat finally deepened into a growl as my eyes dilated. I was seeing red already. Jealousy was consuming my senses until the smell of her arousal swirled around me. I saw her swallow hard while her eyes were fixed on my lips, her own luscious red lips parting. Fuck this! I cupped her face and crushed my lips into hers, kissing her bruisingly hard. I wanted to punish her lips for making me jealous and for thinking that I go around hugging females. She immediately wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled my body closer while I cupped her ass and lifted her off the ground. She snaked her legs around my hips as I pressed her back against the cold wall. My hand rose up to her hair, gripping it tightly to tilt her head up. "You're mine!" JANNA Aaron didn't join us for dinner. He ate dinner together with his warriors and I was okay with that. I didn't like the idea of seating beside him and pretending that there was nothing going on between us especially with Andrea around. AARON By this time, I was already exhausted from all the paperwork I had to complete for the elite group, and by the time I was done for the day, I immediately rushed out of the training building and went directly to the packhouse. I wanted to see Janna and I was hoping everyone had retired to bed already, so no one would see me if I went directly to her room. The packhouse was already quiet when I came in, but then Ark started to feel agitated that my first thought was Janna. With hurried steps, I went for the stairs and found Janna holding onto the wall. She was crying, and my heart clenched at the sight of her tear-stricken face. "Janna?" I called for her and rushed to her side, pulling her into my arms. She wrapped her arms around my neck and buried her face in my chest. "I'm sorry, Aaron. I'm sorry!" She mumbled these words again and again, and I was scared that she had done something that she was now regretting. "

AARON Janna's hand was tightly clasped against mine while it rested on her thigh as we drove out of the territory towards the city. Beta Dominic was in a car behind us. And, as much as the Beta insisted on riding in the same car as me and Janna, the Alpha put his foot down and told the Beta that if he didn't follow his rules, he could forget having lunch with Janna. Well, Alpha Jake just slipped back onto my list of good people. I met the Alpha early this morning, demanding an explanation for allowing Janna to have lunch with Dominic, and I got more answers than I was asking for. I knew Alpha Caspian was here in the territory and he was probably the one Janna saw last night, but it didn't sit well with me that they were mixing Janna into this mess. AARON It was already hard enough watching Janna eat lunch with Beta Dominic, and it was even more irritating having to stay nice with the waitress, who was obviously flirting with me. It didn't slip my eyes the times that Janna's gaze was throwing daggers not just at the waitress but at me as well. And I couldn't do anything, so I tried my best to ignore the server because, as much as I was hundred percent sure I wasn't interested, I knew my little wolf.
