I could sense Janna´s anxiety all throughout, and as much as I wanted to console her, I was doing my best to stay away. The last thing I wanted was for her to reject me when I had plans I wanted to put into place tonight. 

I knew Clair would take care of her, so I tried to ignore her.

But when she finally dropped into her knees at the first sign of pain, it took all of my willpower to stop myself from rushing to her side.

She was putting on a brave front while taking off her shorts, and I was putting on a fucking poker face watching her do it as if I wasn´t affected.

I only let out the breath I was holding when she didn´t take off her shirt and told Clair that she didn't want to be fully naked.

It was the fucking reason why I brought two mated warriors with me tonight instead of the regular ones, which were unmated to help the pups with their shifting. Wolves might not be bothered with nakedness, but I still don´t want any m
