The Mysterious Young Girl

“Where did he go, dear?” Dad asked me.

“I don’t know, dad,” I replied absentmindedly, as I truly had no idea where Alpha Matthew went after instructing us to stay home.

It had been two hours since he left. Suddenly, as we all waited anxiously, the doorbell rang. Mark ran to open the door.

“Am I interrupting?”

I was sure it was Troy’s voice.

“Come in, it’s dangerous out there,” muttered Mark.

They entered and approached us.

“Hey, I’ve noticed that the snow has suddenly started falling,” Troy said.

“That’s right, it’s snowing all of a sudden. Is there a problem?” Dad nodded.

“To be honest, there have been many problems lately,” Troy said while shaking off the snow from his cloak.

He then showed the withered and bluish plants without any reason.

“Ever since you captured Holly and those rats, all the vegetables in our field have turned out like this,” Troy explained.

“Is everything destroyed without any apparent reason?” Mark asked.

“Exactly, it’s all ruined without any clear cause. W
