I parked the car in front of Maya’s parents' house while she sat next to me and puffed nonstop. It was Christmas Day and we had decided to spend the day at her parents' house while the night before we had been to my parents, but Maya did not agree. She woke up that morning and decided she didn’t want to move, she didn’t even want to get out of bed.

I had woken up, washed and prepared, then I had stopped by to set up and prepare Axel and in the meantime, Maya had gone back to sleep. When I returned to my room I found her between the pillows and wrapped her in a duvet that slept happily.
