Ashina's Quest: Chapter 11
I rolled off of him and said, "I honestly wasn't planning on doing this tonight, but I couldn't resist it. That damn mate bond is no joke!" He laughed and said, "I was hoping you would let me mark you as soon as I saw you. I don't ever want you away from me. Lycans are very possessive that way. We actually waited a lot longer than most Lycans do." I chuckled as I wrapped my arm around him and snuggled as close to him as I could and said, "You are now stuck with me for life. I don't ever want to leave you." He said, "That's what I want to hear you say forever." I said, "As of right now, I can't imagine that changing."

As we drove away, I got a mind link from Seth: S: Hey, didn't get a chance to say goodbye. I'm on patrol. M: Meet us in on the way out. S: Ok. I'll be at the entrance. M: Got it. It took another forty-five minutes to get to the castle. I was ready to get out and stretch when Conri parked the vehicle. Conri and I walked into the castle, and I was still furious. Conri said, "Why don't we eat dinner, then we can take mom and dad into dad's conference room and call your dad from there." I stopped and put my hand on Conri's cheek. I said, "If there is one thing you need to know about me, it's this; when I get this mad, I can't eat. I need to punch or kick something or someone. You go ahead and eat. I'm going to work out some aggression, so that I don't take it out on someone who doesn't deserve it." He smiled and said, "Damn, my badass mate and her ways. Mom said, "When you get to the Fairies and the Fae, call on Selene. They will want that sign of status." I said, "That's what I was thinking too." We all decided that the four guards around me is plenty, but they would also stay around me when I'm with Conri.
