Abby's POV
Kayla and I went to my room while our parents talked for most of the morning. We just talked about the upcoming fight and my birthday tomorrow until I receive a text from Adam.
A: Fight will be 6pm at the clearing. I have required all pack kids in high school to attend.

I imagine you're asking how there is a clearing in the middle of a big city. Actually, it's not a real clearing. It's a spot in a local park where the local police department knows we do things like this. When our pack lets them know, they block it off so that no humans are allowed to go there.
